Brief Project Description:   
Το Έργο αφορούσε ενίσχυση της υφιστάμενης γέφυρας επί του ποταμού Ιδαλία (Γιαλιάς).  Οι εργασίες όσον αφορά χωματουργικές εργασίες περιλάμβαναν καθαρισμό της κοίτης του ποταμού και αντικατάσταση του υφιστάμενου λάστιχου άρδευσης.  Επιπλέον έχουν γίνει ενισχύσεις των υφιστάμενων βάθρων, τοποθέτηση εφεδράνων και επέκταση του καταστρώματος της γέφυρας κατά 50εκ από κάθε πλευρά.  Όσον αφορά το κατάστρωμα, έγινε αφαίρεση του υφιστάμενου ασφάλτου, νέα πλάκα σκυροδέματος με τις κατάλληλες μονώσεις, τοποθέτηση υπηρεσιών και τελική στρώση ασφάλτου.  Επιπλέον τοποθετήθηκαν μεταλλικά κιγκλιδώματα εκατέρωθεν της γέφυρας.
The project concerned the strengthening of the existing bridge over the river Idalias.  Earthworks included cleaning the riverbed and replacing the existing irrigation hose.  In addition, the existing abutments and columns have been reinforced, bridge bearings have been installed and the deck of the bridge has been extended by 50cm on each side.  As for the deck, the existing asphalt was removed, a new concrete slab was cast with the appropriate insulations, services were installed and the asphalt wearing was placed.  In addition, steel railings were installed on either side of the bridge.
